I am excited to introduce the Straumann “love what you do” training and education booklet for 2017. As you will find the new look booklet is crammed with both high quality speakers and high quality courses and programs. Although there is so much more, I draw your attention to two events on the calendar… In March we are excited to host international guest speaker, Dr Chatchai Kunavisarut, as part of our annual Straumann Evening Forums with an international flavour. Dr Kunavisarut is a Prosthodontist from Thailand with extensive experience in implants. He is also the current Education Co-ordinator for the ITI Asian Section. His engaging, colourful and enlightening presentations will cover a range of topical implant concepts. Another new addition to our schedule includes a 6 day Cadaver course with Professor Robert London, Clinical Professor from the Department of Periodontics and the University of Washington School of Dentistry. The program includes two days of hands-on implant technique sessions with cadavers at the Sydney Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre at the Kolling Institute. Register early for this course as it promises to sell out quickly. At Straumann we strive to bring highly motivated, creative people together with high quality innovative products. Our theme for the 2017 booklet is “love what you do”. This typifies the team at Straumann, both at work and at play. I look forward to joining you at one of our training and education events in 2017 to witness the “love”.
